Steel is a melee tank who uses his shield to protect his allies. Steel can use his shield defensively to block incoming damage or offensively as a means of crowd control.
Steel can shield himself and allies with his Bulwark, which also slows enemies that pass through it. Charge knocks enemies back in the direction he is moving. His Ultimate, Shield Slam allows Steel to jump into a group of enemies and knock up all of them.
Late game your ability to lock enemies down is crucial. When initiating a fight, target the enemy damage dealers and don't forget Bulwars block enemy projectiles.
