The Core is the primary objective for each map. To win a match (other than the other team surrendering), a team must destroy the opposing team's Core.
The Core is the source of the minion waves. The Core cannot be targeted until one or more of a team's inhibitors are destroyed. The Core defends itself by releasing an AoE pulse of energy when it senses nearby enemies, dealing damage to all enemies around it. The Core's attack speed is reduced depending on how many Inhibitors are destroyed.
